updated photos

A few interested parties have asked to see more detailed photos, so I have taken SHED loads of all the bits that could possibly be classed as bad……..

In my eyes there are no parts that are of a major worry as I have the car garaged every night and rarely drive it in the rain so many of the bits have not got any worse in the 2 years I have been driving it.

So pics make some things look worse than they are, but I have only posted these pictures as a few people who want to come and see the car want to see more pictures before they even look at the car in person…..

So here goes…..

The 182 lives to fight another year on the road!

After fun and games the trekker finally gets an MOT today, after a fail on the beam roller bearings, only to find the reason they failed was that it has NO inner bearings!!!! – no wonder it had play in it!

Mot time for the 182

Just in time to leave for the Volksworld Show tomorrow…

Nothing like cutting it fine

Gearbox fun and games on the Trekker

Started to find when I was driving the car hard the engine and box would move, so looked into it and found gear box mounts needed a little attention to say the least!

So out with the engine:

Trekker Engine out

Trekker Engine out

vw 182 motor all out!

Was a bit tight getting it out!

And the reason for the movement!

Busted trekker gearbox mount!

Think its time they were replaced so did the lot!
