Got an email from the previous owner Lee Barlow, who was the guy that restored the car in the first place, he found some old photos and wondered if I might like them?

Too RIGHT!

Since seeing it in Volksworld all those years ago, I have always wanted a Trekker, I never would have thought it would be that exact one!

Took the scans from the actual Volksworld mag from 1999!

Bought this back in Jan 2009 after doing a part exchange on my 1958 RHD Split screen panel van and have never looked back. Here is a selection pictures I based my purchase on as it was coming all the way from the Isle of Man!

Well, the day finally came round and I set off VERY VERY early on a cold Jan morning with a  very good friend who had offered to tow my Van on a trailer up to the meet the ferry at Liverpool docks

So we met the ferry eventually and swapped over for my new toy!
